STATISTICAL INFORMATION OF ENTITIES UNDER SURVEILLANCE

In Colombia there are 62 territorial comptrollers and the General Comptroller for the Republic, which are in charge of the surveillance of the fiscal management of over 10500 public entities.

Colombian comptrollers, count with economic and human resources that allows them to function as autonomous entities and on the other hand law has given them different competences from which we can highlight: review accounts, audit, carry out fiscal responsibility processes, keep registries of public debt and present an annual report about natural resources and environmental issues among others.

Below we show the variables that correspond to the information reported by the comptroller offices, of their human and financial resources utilized and their mission in years 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003.
